A: Brain Chemistry: Accurate measurements of neurotransmitter levels.
Lipo Body Sculpting
Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo is a light emitting diode (LED) system specifically designed to contour the body by losing inches in circumference off specific body areas (waist, hips, thighs, arms, neck) without any pain, downtime, needles or surgery. Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo is composed of 4 extra large pads that contain hundreds of these diodes. These pads are applied directly to the fatty areas that are resistant to diet and exercise.
Q. How quickly does Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Scuplting work, and what results can I expect? A. Results can be seen immediately. Individuals have lost anywhere from two inches to eighteen inches over the course of a series of treatments. Individual results vary.
Q. How long is a Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body treatment and what does it feel like? A. Clients can expect to feel a gentle, warm sensation. Most individuals read, listen to music, or take a nap during the 25 minute treatment.
Q. How can I optimize my Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body results? A. Hydration and exercise are critical. Drink plenty of water (ideally at least 8 glasses of 8 ounces of water) spread out throughout the day to flush the fat from the system. Diuretics (coffee, alcohol, etc.) are discouraged. The client should be active and burn 350 calories every day during their choice of cardio exercise.
Q. What areas of the body can I treat? A. Essentially all parts of the body where subcutaneous deposits of fat can be found may be treated with Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting, especially those resistant to diet and exercise.
Q. How is Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting different than liposuction? A. Liposuction is an invasive procedure involving the mechanical removal of fat cells. By contrast, Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo is completely non-invasive and only affects fat cells temporarily, draining contents to the body's waste system.
Q. Does Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting help with loose skin? A. Anecdotal evidence suggests that clients undergoing Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo Light have noticed an improvement in skin tone and texture.
Q. Does Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting improve the appearance of cellulite? A. Anecdotal evidence suggests that clients undergoing Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo have noticed an improvement in the appearance of cellulite.
Q. What are the side effects? A. There are zero side effects. The treatment is painless and normal activities can be resumed immediately.
Q. How long will results last? A. Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting does not destroy fat cells but empties them of their content which means that fat cells are capable of re-storing fat should the client have a chronic caloric imbalance. A balanced diet is the only way to ensure long-term improvement. Clients who eat more calories than they burn will see their improvement decrease over time. We recommend weight-loss hypnotherapy for those who have trouble eating a balanced diet.
Q. How many treatments will I need? A. Clients within a normal weight range require six to eight treatments. Overweight clients require twelve or more treatments. Severe cellulite reduction requires more time at each session.
Q. Would more treatments lead to better results? A. Yes, additional treatments will lead to improved results. An additional series of Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo treatments can begin immediately after the first series.
Q. Why should clients avoid alcohol during the Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting process? A. There are three main reasons why alcohol should be avoided with Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Lipo Body Sculpting: 1. Alcohol is a diuretic and it is critical that the body stays optimally hydrated throughout the treatment program. 2. Alcohol also contains a lot of calories: a 5-ounce glass of red wine packs 100 calories! This directly conflicts with the recommendations of the program which calls for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. 3. Third and most importantly, alcohol is processed as fat by the liver which directly restricts the body’s ability to process the newly liberated fat. Once liberated by Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo, the fat that is not used up as energy to fuel the body’s normal metabolic needs fat is processed by the liver using enzymes. The total amount of fat being processed at any given time is limited by the amount of enzymes produced by the liver. Alcohol is processed as fat by the liver using the same enzymes. So, when the liver is busy processing alcohol, it is not able to process the fat liberated by Trinity Holistic Wellness Center Body Lipo. Hence more time/treatments are required to achieve results.
Cold Laser Pain Relief
Q. Does it hurt? What does treatment feel like? A. There is little or no sensation during treatment. Occasionally one feels a mild, soothing warmth or tingling.
Q. Are there any side effects or associated risks? A. During more than 20 years of use by healthcare providers all over the world, very few side effects have ever been reported. If a patient is allergic to light then they may get a rash or blister for a few days. Occasionally some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days.
Q. How long does each treatment take? A. The typical treatment duration is 5-15 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated and what is being treated.
Q. How often should the patient be treated? A. The patient may be treated daily, particularly if they have significant pain. More chronic problems respond better when treatments are received 2-3 times per week tapering off to once a week or once every other week, with improvement
Q. How many treatments does it take? A. This depends on the nature of what is being treated. For some acute situations, 1 -6 treatments may suffice. Those of a more chronic nature may require 10-15 (or more) treatments. Severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.
Q. How long before the results are felt? A. You may feel improvement (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. Sometimes you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments. This does not mean that nothing is happening. Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after 3 - 4 sessions. Q. Can it be used along with other forms of treatment? A. Yes. Laser therapy is often used with other forms of therapy, including physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, massage, soft tissue mobilization and electrotherapy. It is also used after surgery. Other healing modalities are complementary and can be used with laser to increase the effectiveness of the treatment
Total Wellness - NES Scan - Bio-energetic Fields
Q. How many Bio-energetic Fields sessions are typically needed? A. Generally, it requires only 1 to 6 visits, more for certain problems and areas, pain intensity and type, and other variables. Additional visits may be required, dependent upon:
Amount of body toxins
Stress level
Immune system levels
Hydration
Q. What can I expect after a Bio-energetic Fields treatment? A. When the body begins to balance itself, it is possible that minor symptoms such as sinus congestion, tired or lethargic feeling, aches, pains, headaches or nausea can occur and are all usually signs of cleansing of the body. This process is the body is eliminating toxic wastes and restoring itself. The temporary symptoms will subside as the toxins are eliminated from the body. Sometimes tissues retain memory, and as these are being released, a temporary sensation of more pain may occur as the underlying healing is taking place within.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF)
Q. What is the frequency of PEMF sessions to get relief? A. Multiple daily exposures appear to be better than prolonged individual exposures. However, consider feedback from the body to determine your own treatment schedule. Total single exposures may be best if they do not exceed 90 minutes; exceptions are found in several conditions, including fractures, Legg-Perthes’ disease and aseptic necrosis, among others.
Q. How many session will PEMF require? A. If magnetic therapy does not work within 20 exposures, the value becomes uncertain. It typically indicates that a different solution is necessary, or the problem is extremely deep-seated and will take a very long time to resolve. One example is bone healing of non-union fractures, where the first signs of healing cannot be expected before 30 days or more.
Q. Will my condition seem to get worse before it gets better? A. In about 1/3 of rheumatoid arthritis patients (and possibly in all cases of chronic pain and/or inflammation), subjective worsening can be expected after the first few exposures. This is not a reason for interruption of therapy. It is recommended to first reduce the frequency of the treatments, then the magnetic field density/strength if this fails. Starting the use of anti-oxidants and increasing fluid intake prior to therapy for 2-3 days may reduce these aggravations.
Q. Will PEMF interfere with any other simultaneous therapies? A. Other therapeutic modalities should still be applied and considered in a complementary approach.
Q. When should PEMF be considered? A. Magnetic therapy should be applied as soon as possible after a problem begins. Magnetic fields can influence functional disturbances more rapidly, less so fixed or mechanical or significant pathologic anatomic changes. Q. How much time will PEMF require? A. Exposures must be long enough and must be repeated. Clinical response should guide how often and how long treatments should be applied. If possible, do not give up on magnetic therapy until a sufficient number of initial treatments have been performed. It is often better to gradually advance the interval between exposures, once a sufficient initial course of treatments have been done. Individualization of the approach is always necessary, especially in painful conditions.
Neurofeedback
Q. How many Neurofeedback sessions are typically needed? A. It takes several sessions to properly train the brain. Each situation is carefully reviewed and estimates of the number of sessions that will be needed are discussed during the initial consultation.
Q. How is Neurofeedback done? A. Sensors are attached to the scalp with EEG paste which then pickup brain waves. It is painless and is entirely non-invasive. The current only goes from the brain to the computer (no application of any voltage or current goes to the brain). The client will receive instructions to play a video game using only brain waves. Specific brain wave frequencies are rewarded.
Q. Who can benefit from Neurofeedback? A. Anyone can! Neurofeedback is training in self-regulation. Good self-regulation is necessary for optimal brain function. Self-regulation training enhances the function of the central nervous system and thereby improves mental performance, emotional control and physiological stability. Excessive fast or slow activity is associated with brain dysregulation and a variety of clinical symptoms. Training changes in that activity toward more effective patterns which helps improve self-regulation.
Q. How does training transfer to everyday situations? A. When an individual notes their attention has improved, or they experience they are less angry or anxious, they don’t have to remember what they did in Neurofeedback training. The training generalizes, and the brain – under a high demand situation – seems to have learned to manage itself better. The brain is being training for better self-regulation, which improves its functioning in any setting or situation.
Q. When do you stop training? A. The safest way to approach training is to “over learn” or “over train.” Don’t stop as soon as symptoms begin to resolve. Keep training for at least 5-10 more sessions, so your brain learns the changes more permanently.
Q. Can Neurofeedback training be done while a client is on medication? A. Yes. Many clients start Neurofeedback while on one or more medications.
Hypnotherapy
Q. What is Hypnotherapy? A. Hypnotherapy is the process of using hypnosis to interact with the subconscious mind in an open-reflective process to create positive change in your life. There are many techniques and many styles and many applications of hypnotherapy. They all have several things in common: (1) a strong desire to change, (2) a state of deeply relaxed focus, and (3) language and visualization in relationship to emotions.
Q. What happens during Hypnosis? A. Hypnosis is simply a state of relaxed focus. It is a natural state. In fact, each of us enters such a state - sometimes called a trance state - at least twice a day: once when we are falling asleep, and once when we are waking up. That kind of fuzzy, timeless state between dreaming and awake is a trance state. When a nine-minute snooze-button seems to give you enough time to have an-hour long dream, that's a trance state.
There are many other times that people enter a natural state of trance. Driving, watching TV, listening to music, working on a favorite hobby or activity in the "flow" state. These are all "altered states of consciousness," and all are various levels of trance. Trance is normal, natural and common.
Some people leave their first hypnotherapy session saying, "I wasn't hypnotized - I knew what was going on the whole time!" Well of course you did! Hypnosis is not a state of amnesia or of no awareness. Just the opposite true, in fact: hypnosis is a state of very heightened awareness and focus.
Hollywood has perpetrated many myths about hypnosis, and not remembering anything from the hypnosis session is one of those myths. Only under special circumstances would a person forget everything from a session. Much more can be accomplished when the person undergoing hypnosis remembers everything.
Q. What can't be treated with hypnotherapy? A. Serious psychiatric or mental health problems are referred to a qualified psychotherapist or psychiatrist. Medical problems with the physical body must always be treated by a physician, who can, at his or her discretion, prescribe hypnotherapy for pain control, hypnoanesthesia or relaxation.
Drug addiction, family dynamics disorders, clinical depression and other such problems need to be treated by doctors and psychiatrists, who can, at their discretion, sometimes prescribe hypnotherapy as a supplementary treatment.
Q. Will I bark like a dog or cluck like a chicken? A. Let me guess: you've seen a stage show where a hypnotist made people do all these crazy things. Or, perhaps you have ideas from Hollywood's movies and TV. The stage hypnotist carefully selects his subjects (watch how many volunteers he has sit down), and he chooses people he knows WILL bark like a dog. They will because somewhere inside them is a part that loves to entertain. And they will do it because, deep down inside, they don't believe there is anything wrong with barking like a dog.
Hypnosis can not make you do something that is against your morals or ethics. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, in truth, and no hypnotist can make you do something that you really don't want to do. That's why some people can be hypnotized to stop smoking and yet they still smoke. You have to want the change, agree with the change, and then hypnosis is an instrument for helping make that change better, faster, and permanent.
Q. Will I lose control? A. This is another Hollywood myth. You always have control, and you can always hear what's going on. Hypnosis is nothing but a state of relaxed deep focus. It is a natural state that you enter at least twice a day (while waking up and while falling asleep!), and probably much more often than that. If at any time you are in trance and you wish to be fully awake, you can just count to yourself "1 - 2- 3" and open your eyes.
Q. Why did a friend try to quit smoking with hypnotherapy and it didn't work? A. There is more to changing a serious habit like smoking than just a few hypnotic suggestions, I'm afraid. In the simplest terms, the person must want the change, and they must have a replacement for smoking. Hypnosis can be used to find a healthy, effective replacement, and then it can be used to help flip the subconscious over to the new, healthy habits.
While sitting in a room with 50 other people in a seminar, or listening to a stop-smoking CD can work, it is usually much more effective to have a personalized session with a hypnotherapist, who can customize the approach, language and replacement suggestions to match your lifestyle and circumstances.
