I have to share this by Dr. Mercola. Many of you who know me know that I lost my wife of 50 years to Alzheimer's, and recently lost a brother-in-law to Alzheimer's also. I want to urge everyone reading this to please take care of your brain!
"Dementia and Alzheimer's have become so common that you may be unconsciously accepting these conditions as a natural part of aging, unfortunate family genes or both. The truth is, you can positively influence your brain. The actions suggested below will help ensure your mind remains sharp and resilient for many years to come. I encourage you to choose one of the suggestions and begin acting on it today. Making just one change can make a big difference in your brain health. Take care of your brain and it will take care of you." Even though your brain affects everything you do, you probably don't give it — literally — much thought. Clever pun aside, how often do you actually consider what your brain may need to stay healthy? Given the fact your brain impacts all aspects of your life — from happiness and health, to relationships and rest — it's important you understand how to take care of it. While aging and genes have some effect, they may not have the final word about the fate of your brain. Your brain's lifelong neuroplasticity enables you to have continual influence over its health based on how you eat, sleep, exercise, express yourself, manage stress and more. The actions, attitudes and thoughts you have today, as well as the daily lifestyle choices you make, all play a meaningful role in your brain's health. With more than 5 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer's disease and as many as 16 million expected to suffer with it by 2050,1 brain care is not a subject you can afford to ignore. Start today by reviewing the following 10 actions you can take daily to positively impact the health of your brain. Read more about it here: articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2018/03/01/daily-activities-for-brain-health.aspx?utm_source=dnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art2&utm_campaign=20180301Z2&et_cid=DM189259&et_rid=229197454

Why Is Your Blood So Important? Your blood could be viewed as the river of life; it is the substance that carries oxygen, water and nutrients to all your organs and tissues. It therefore makes perfect sense, that imbalances in the blood will affect the organs and tissues, leading to malfunction and imbalance. If the red blood cells are anything other than perfect in shape, structure, flexibility and fluidity, then their ability to travel around the body and deliver the vital level of oxygen and nutrients is severely compromised. If the blood cells are unable to travel around the body to deliver the vital level of oxygen and nutrients the result is into low energy production, fatigue and a general sense of feeling unwell. There are obviously many degrees of this. The quality of the blood is vital to a healthy, disease free body and this is dependent on correct nutrition and lifestyle. Every second of every day the trillions of cells within the body absorb nutrients and oxygen from the blood and excrete acid wastes in the process of metabolism. Diet and lifestyle dramatically affect the cellular health either positively or negatively. Blood, which is an important organ of life, must stay at an exact pH (acid/alkaline levels) of 7.365. The body will do anything to maintain this level and will rob the body of calcium and other minerals in order to stay that way, causing imbalances in health. If our bodies, due to being acidic have to work harder in order to keep the blood at the slightly alkaline level of 7.365, then we will feel sick and tired. Healthy cells can only survive in an environment that maintains an optimum pH. Think of fish in a fish tank, where we spend so much time and effort making sure the water they swim in is clean, well oxygenated and at the correct acidity/alkalinity balance. If we did the same for own blood cells we may be able to avoid all sorts of illness and disease. Let us help get you on the right track for better health. You will feel better and have much more energy for the important things in life. Enjoy life! 281-367-9292. Personalised Health addresses weight management in a very individual way that takes into consideration your history, environment, lifestyle, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects as well as biochemical and genetic individuality. A Biofeedback genetic test also provides you with the specific information about your unique micronutrients needs, support for detoxification pathways and offers you insights on other aspects of your health such as inflammation, insulin sensitivity, oxidative stress, bone health, heart health. With this knowledge a highly effective plan for your diet, exercise and lifestyle can be created. Rather than just a quick fix with a fit all approach, the aim of a functional dietary programme is adopting an eating style which works for you and is healthy, enjoyable and sustainable in the long term. When necessary a tailored natural supplement plan will complement your dietary style. The ABO blood type charts below can be used to predict the possibilities of paternity High homocysteine levels are linked to increased risk of heart disease, memory loss and osteoporosis. Find out how to keep your H score ideaThe charts below can assist you to determine either: 1. The ABO blood type of the child when the blood type of the father and the mother are known (top chart), or 2. The ABO blood type of the father if the blood type of the child and the mother are known (bottom chart). ABO blood types can be complicated to understand. This is mostly due to the fact that the 'O-type' antigen is masked by the presence of an A- or B-type antigen. This is explained in the chart on the left, showing the different the genotypes that make up the blood types For example, two O blood type parents can produce a child with only O blood type. Two parents with A blood type can produce a child with either A or O blood types. Two parents with B blood type can produce a child with either B or O blood type. One parent with A and another with B can produce a child with A, B, AB or O blood types. If one parent has A and another has AB, they can either produce a child with A, B or AB blood types. If one parent has A and another has O, they can either produce a child with A or O blood types. Cerebral Palsy
Case Study We have just received a report that child of ten with Cerebral Palsy had achieved an IQ increase from 48 four years ago to 70 currently. He had been trained with neurofeedback intermittently for four years. Even though a long span of time passed between measurements, such IQ improvements are not expected. Therefore it is proper to attribute the gains to the use of Neurofeedback even in the absence of a control. There is also no reason to think that the child has plateaued at this value of IQ. It is quite possible that further gains may be in store for this child with additional training over the coming years. To date every study on neurofeedback that has included IQ measurements has demonstrated significant gains on an individual and a group basis. This argues for a role of Neurofeedback in ordering brain function that goes beyond what is commonly achievable with medications that impact on neurotransmitter and neuromodulator function. We have a comprehensive holistic clinic that can help with many issues that plague our modern lifestyle.
We can begin with a simple consultation, and with your input, we choose the course of therapy. We have a wide range of holistic options to choose from. We are under unbelievable amounts of stress today. And it looks like it may get more stressful in our corner of the world before it gets better. With all the hateful things people are spouting off about our countries past and present leadership, the rioting and vandalizing of our country's historical monuments, more EMF, Radiation, all kinds of unseen wave-forms that affect our health. We have read reports that these "unseen pollutants" in the air are destroying our bee population. The bee's navigation systems are disrupted by our modern conveniences. We are also disrupted, however, our symptoms from these are more subtle (as we are able to get to where we are going, most of the time). In our area, we have endured Hurricane Harvey's destruction, and have more hurricanes out in the Atlantic Ocean heading our direction. We have the Revelation 12:1 stars in alignment that will occur on September 23, 2017, that has never happened in human history. (We have a countdown clock on our homepage for this astronomical event). We have earthquakes in various places, and over 60 major fires in the Pacific Northwest. To top all that off there are comets and a planetary system that are coming near the earth soon. These will not hit the earth, but there will be much debris from all of this and some meteorites may hit the earth. Can anyone say stress? We can help. 281-367-9292. Call today, our consultation is free by mentioning this blog! Many children have sleep problems that can be helped such as Bed wetting, Sleep walking, sleep talking, Teeth grinding, Nightmares, Night terrors. We can also be helpful with many of the problems of adolescence including Drug abuse, Suicidal behavior, Anxiety and depression.
We can also help to maintain good brain function as people get older. The good news is that almost any brain, regardless of its level of function, can be trained to function better. Sometimes referred to as neurotherapy or brain biofeedback, neurofeedback is commonly used for treating Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other conditions. It may be a potentially useful intervention for a range of brain-related conditions. It has been used for sports improvement, pain, aggression, anxiety, depression, addiction, epilepsy, headaches, insomnia, Tourette syndrome, and brain damage from stroke, trauma, and other causes.
We have had success in treating cluster migraine headaches, vertigo, back pain, and more. Of course, we have treated children with ADD/ADHD and the grades and behavior get so much better! Drug-free!
